Fashion 101: Ombre Clothing

Naya Rivera
Ombre is everywhere from hair to nails and now clothing! I love the colorblocking trend, but I definitely see myself and many other fashionistas turning to an ombre clothing trend. Naya Rivera's black, blue, and white ombre dress is beautiful and I love how it amps up a typical dress style into so much more. Any color scheme could work with ombre such as pink to white oor even red to yellow. Ombre outfits can be created with different clothing pieces as well. Try pairing a white shirt with a colored bottoms and dark shoes or vice versa. An ombre outfit is very unique because it is such a contrast to colorblocking and much newer. Try it out and experiment with different fashion looks,

Outfit Of The Day: 70's Inspired

I was feeling very 70s-ish and decided to pair a loose butterfly winged top with wide legged jeans. My color scheme is kept very neautral with tans, browns, and a gold watch. I even went a little natural by wearing my feather earrings. For shoes I stuck to my favorties, oxfords. They are extremely comfortable and go with just about any outfit. I wore my gold Betsey Johnson watch, a butterfly wing, an owl ring, and a chunky bracelet. My hair is pulled up into a bun, it is desperately awaiting a hair appointment, and I decided to go with no make-up today. By the way my eyewear is just my everyday glasses that have transitioned into some very cool Ray-Ban shades. In all I love my outfit all thanks to some 70's inspiration.

Outfit Of The Day: Denim and Boots

I love denim on denim and today I decided to try it with different jean washes. I paired my medium wash denim button up with dark grey jeans and tried out the ultimate jean contrast. I even put on my brown riding boots that I love so much. The boots are simple but still very cute and have nice details especially on the back. I put a tank top with a pattern to put underneath my button up to give an unexpected flare and prevent my look from being to plain and solid. Try out the denim on denim look and even put together different washes and textures.  Look good chicas!

Fashion offers no greater challenge than finding what works for the night without looking like you are wearing a costume.

Fashion Tip #8

Try it all, fashion styles I mean. There is now law saying that once your style is girly you can never try edgy, or that once your edgy you can never go boho. Changing up your style shows how creative and different you can be in fashion and even helps you find what suits you best. You never now what may happen when you try switching up styles, you may even create your own! Trying out new things in the fashion and beauty world molds your personal style and makes a true fashionista.
