Fashion is art, art is expression, and expression is life. I love fashion, music and trying new things just to say I did. I'm a very random person and would rather look at life through the "wrong" end of the telescope. I am also very girly but I have other dimensions that my personality showcases. Through my blog I just want to show everything I love and catches my eye. I'll also post quotes and people I find inspiring. Stay beautiful :)

OOTD: Stripes, Converse, and Gold
It's officially summertime and I'm finally back from my trip to D.C. which means it is time for an Outfit of the Day post! Here I am wearing a red and blue chambray top with high-waisted shorts and my favorite pair of converses. Keep on reading to find out more about my look!
My top is from Marshall's and underneath I am wearing a blue camisole to ensure that my bra is not seen from the open sleeves. I purchased my shoes and shorts about two years ago and they are still two of my favorite pieces for summer.
I left my hair in a ponytail so that the collar on my shirt could stand out and to keep the extra heat off my neck!
I stayed all gold with my jewelry, as usual, and wore lots of simple rings. I put own my new pair of Owl head earrings and my Betsey Johnson boyfriend style Owl watch. FYI, owls are my favorite creature so I love to wear them on my accessories.
Have a fantastic, fun, and memorable summer 2013! Remember that laughter is the best medicine and never take life too seriously, especially in the summertime.

DIY: Dainty Wire Rings
I love dainty rings that wrap around the entire fingers and knuckles and go with just about anything! That's why I decided to take a trip to my local crafts store and pick up the tools I needed to stock up my ring collection. Keep on reading to find out how to make your own dainty wire rings.
Your going to want to start by picking up a pair of wire cutters, a nail polish bottle the same size as your finger, and wire, preferably 20 gauge wire.
You can start by wrapping the wire in cool designs and using the wire cutter to cut off the excessive amount of wire from around your finger.
You can also begin by "measuring" out the amount of wire you need around the nail polish bottle and cutting it about a centimeter out from where the wire ends touch each other.
My favorite part is actually creating loops and words which is done by using your fingers or the wire cutter's pointy ends and moving the wire until it forms the shape you desire.

DIY Nails: Holiday Glitter Half Moons
Once again my nails are glittering and shimmering, but with two showstopping colors in a half moon design. This nail look makes me think of a glam holiday, it's so much fun and great to look at while I'm taking my exams! So many different different glitter combos are possible with this nail design, all you need to create the look are two solid colors and two glitter polishes that are similar in color with the two solids. You will also need a clear base and top coat, nail polish remover, and about 2 Q-tips. Keep on reading for the steps to recreate my nail look.
- Begin with clean nails and coat them with a clear basecoat.
- Take a solid purple polish and coat from the bottom half of your nail to the middle.
- Dip a Q-tip in nail polish remover and with windshield wiper motions, create a half moon of the purple polish.
- Take a solid brown polish and paint the nail starting from the edge of the purple half moons to the tips.
- Go back with a sparkly purple and with a careful hand apply it on top of the solid purple.
- Add a glittery gold on top of the solid brown polish.
- Use any color glitter striper and define the half moon.
- Let your nails dry, then apply a clear basecoat.

DIY Nails: O.P.I. Golden Eye
I have been searching everywhere for the perfect gold nail polish and I finally found it! I actually first saw the nail lacquer in new Skyfall O.P.I. nail collection ad in Seventeen Magazine! At first I was apprehensive about purchasing the Golden Eye nail polish because I wasn't sure if it would be opaque enough, but it is after about 2-3 coats of polish. I was originally looking for a golden nail polish because the only one I have is a shatter polish and gold just seems like a glam color that would also be perfect for the holidays. Plus I have been on a glitter/shimmer nail polish craving the last few weeks. Keep on reading for tips to make the most of this golden nail lacquer.
- Begin with clean, shaped nails and apply a clear base coat.
- Take the gold polish and make one stroke starting in the center of the nail and go upward. Use the rest of the polish on the brush to complete the bottom half of the nail.
- Finish the nail by polishing the right and left half starting from the center like in step 2.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each nail. Add a second coat to make the polish more opaque.
- Add a third coat if necessary and apply a clear top coat to seal the polish.
