Back to School: Outfit Inspo for All Styles

Zendaya
I love a glam look for daytime! Zendaya goes glam for day in an all denim ensemble of overalls and a denim button up. She then pairs the look with pops of color in the shoes and make-up. Transition the look for back to school by sticking to simple accessories, swapping to flats or lower heels, and keeping the beauty (make-up and hair) on the casual side.
Bella Thorne
For the simple, yet outgoing girl, printed pants mixed with a solid top. Printed pants instantly make any outfit look more "done" and fashionable. Mix up a variety of colored and printed pants in your back to school wardrobe for lots of options.

Taylor Swift
Embody a girly style with a skater skirt and flats or cute heels. A pretty skater skirt adds a dose of sweetness to a look especially when paired with a pristine pair of flats and nice bag to hold all your necessities.

Get the Look: Everyday Glam

Willa Holland
I am in love with these easy going yet glam makeup ad hair look worn by Willa Holland. Willa's makeup is very minimal with hints of shimmer and gorgeous defined eyes. Her hair gives her the needed quirky youthfulness because of the slightly undone look of the topknot. All you need to recreate the look is black pencil eyeliner and mascara, a shimmery tinted lipgloss, a BB cream, a brown shadow, and a highlight shadow.
  1. Begin with a clean face and apply a BB cream to lightly cover your blemishes as well as protect your skin from the sun.
  2. Prime your eyelids with a primer and apply the highlighter shadow to your brow bone. Be sure to blend.
  3. Apply the brown shadow up to your crease for a sweep of light color.
  4. Take the eyeliner and line your waterline with black liner. Be gentle!
  5. Line your upper lash line with a medium line. You can even add a wing if you would like.
  6. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara to your lashes.
  7. Apply a tinted lipgloss to your lips to finish the make-up.
  8. As for the hair, pull your hair up into a ponytail and secure with a ponytail. Then twist your hair into a topknot and secure with bobby pins.
How do you glam up your everyday look?

Beauty 101: Glamour Galore

Nina Dobrev
Nina Dobrev is one my favorite beauty inspirations because of her soft look. I love that she goes simple with her hair and make-up, but still stands out. The look above is Nina's Oscars 2013 look which was full of glamour  shimmer, and bold lashes. A look like Nina's is perfect for the upcoming prom season, military balls, and any other special occasions  All you need to recreate the look is foundation,  nude lip color, a bronzer, black eyeliner, silver/grey eyeshadow, black eyeshadow, mascara (optional: false lashes), a highlight color, and a shadow matching your eyebrows.
  1. Being with a clean face and apply foundation and concealer as necessary.
  2. Take the bronzer and couture it into the hollows of your cheeks to your temples. Be sure to couture and blend well.
  3. Apply a highlight to your brow bone and take it all the way down in an outward angle to your crease.
  4. Apply a grey/silver eyeshadow to your lower lids. Blend the color out into your crease.
  5. Take the black shadow and with a light hand blend it into your crease in a "V" shape that creates a slight cat eye. Blend lightly until you achieve your desired amount of shadow.
  6. Take the grey/silver shadow and with an eyeliner brush, sweep against your lower lashline creating a thin line.
  7. Fill in your eyebrows with a matching eyeshadow color in light, short strokes.
  8. Take your eyeliner and create a medium line on your outer lash line , then appley 2-3 coats of mascara and add false lashes if desired.
  9. Apply a nude lipstick or gloss to finish the make-up look.
Nina Dobrev
Now that you have Nina's gorgeous make-up look, her simple ponytail is a must! All you need to recreate her ponytail is a ponytail holder, a brush, bobby pins. and a product that will slick your hair back into the ponytail.
  1. Begin by brush all your hair back into a ponytail at the center of your head. Use the brush to add a bit of a poof in the front.
  2. Secure the ponytail with the ponytail holder. Make sure it is not secured too tightly, but not too loosely.
  3. Use bobby pins to secure any loose hair.
  4. Take a section of the hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the ponytail holder and secure it with a bobby pin.
  5. The hair look is now complete.
Are you attending any special events soon?

3 Golden Globe Awards Hair Faves

The 70th Golden Globe Awards consisted of so many beautiful celebrities, jaw-dropping gowns, and gorgeous beauty looks. However, the hair looks stood out to me the most with a majoritity of the female celebs pulling their hair out of their faes into intricate buns, old hollywood waves, and edgy updos. Pulling your hair out of your face is such a big risk, and sometimes an insecurity to ladies everywhere, but I am ready for it to become a big hair trend. Below are 3 of my hair faves from the 70th Golden Globe Awards and tips on how you can rock the looks.
Katherine McPhee
Buns can literally be worn anywhere, anytime, and with anything. Katherine McPhee's bun can easily be turned into an everyday style because of its effortlessness and ease. The fact that it is not pulled back to tightly and not polished makes the bun retain its youthfulness while still being chic. The bun can easily be achieved by adding a shine/smoothing serum to your hair, pulling it into a ponytail, then very loosely wrap the hair around in circles while pinning it down with bobby pins. Fly aways are perfectly fine which makes the look great if you don't have a lot of time and still want to look cute.

Julianne Hough
If you're going to pull your hair out of your face, do it with some edge like Julianne Hough. The slick back sides frame and contour her face while the pompadour adds the BAM to the hair look. All you need to recreate Juliannes look are bobby pins, a brush, and a holding spray. Brush your edges back, leaving the center out, into a low bun. Tease the remaining hair to your liking, shape the pompadour, then secure it into the bun with bobby pins. You may need holding spray to keep the edgy look in place. The hair is perfect when you want to keep your hair ot the way while still feeling glam and edgy.

Megan Fox
Old Hollywood waves never get which is why I love Megan Fox's hair style. Hollywood waves may seem like way too much for everyday, but there is definitely a way to make it work. Create waves in your hair whether through a curling iron, braids, or just use your natural hair texture and brush all of it to one side of your hair. You may need bobby pins to keep the hair all to one side or you can use hair accessories such as a flower clips or bejeweled hairbands.

What is your favorite Golden Globe Awards hair look?

OOTD: Sequins and Metallics

Sequins, metallics, and florals are definitely my new favorites. I can not get enough of florals, they have become one of my wardrobe must haves. Sequins and metallics make me feel so glam and sparkly, plus if they're worked in with a solid color they can be worn with anything. In this outfit of the day I have kept warm with a pink sequin sweater paired with my favorite floral skinny jeans and my knew blush pink metallic Ugg wedges.
My pink sequin sweater is so comfy and perfect for the cold weather without feeling bulky or scratchy against the skin. However it doesn't stop at that, the bright pink color ties into the flowers on my jeans making the look flow together. The shoes are my new blush pink metallic wedge Uggs that I got from Nine West. Their metallic style definitely ties in with the sequins and glams up the look

Let me know in the comments below how you like my Sequins and Metallic ootd! Be sure to show me your ootds on Twitter @lyndseycamille.

OOTD: Christmas Day

It may be a little late to say Merry Christmas, but it's still the holiday season! Christmas for me is all about spending time with the family in a more casual environment, no cocktail dresses necessary. However, I still love to dress up which explains my sequin flats, red leather pants, sparkly sweater combo. My overall look makes me feel edgy, glam, and super sparkly while still being comfortable and not over the top. My sweater is actually cropped, but it is way too cold to be showing off my stomach so I put a black cami underneath and let the sparkly neck stand out. The red leather pants are super comfy and even have a light shimmer to them which allows them to work for both casual and dressy occasions. The flats are actually one of my Christmas gifts that I couldn't resist wearing to give my outfit some extra color and glam. Last but not least I piled on the rings along with my gold Betsey Johnson watch and two beautiful bracelets from my mom and sister.

What are you wearing for the holidays?

*The holiday season has been keeping me busy and tired, however I will slowly be getting back on my regular posting schedule :).

Sweater- Ross
Pants- Marshalls
Belt- Target
Flats- Nine West

DIY Nails: Party Rocking Mani

I've been missing having glitz and sparkles on my nails so I had to go all out glam with my nail look for the week. The best thing about this nail look is goes with girly, edgy, and glam styles and adds fun to both dressy and party looks. I feel like such a little diva with my nails in this sparkly look, plus it will be great since I have two special events this week, a Beta induction and a band concert. The ombre effect gives this nail look it's trendy vibe and I even used a new technique to create the cool effect. All you need to create this nail look is a sponge, a clear base and top coat, any color nail polish, and a glitter nail polish.
  1. Start with clean nails and apply a clear base coat. This will allow your polish to stay on longer and keep your natural nails clean and strong.
  2. Take your sponge and lightly dab the polish across the tip of the sponge and dab it along one of your nails. Bee sure your tip is completely covered with the polish and lightens up as you go closer to the nail bed.
  3. Repeat step two for each nail.
  4. Apply  glitter nail polish to your entire nail for a glam, sparkly look to give your nails a fun party look.
  5. Apply a clear top coat and allow your nails time to dry.
This nail look is so fun and pretty and you can make it even more unique by adding designs over the ombre or different nail combos! Let me know in comments below if you try out the nail look.

Get The Look: Simple Glam

Selena Gomez
Simple looks with hints of sparkle and glamour are always showstopping! Selena Gomez is mixing beachy waves with minimal make-up and glitzy earrings. All you need to recreate this look is a curling iron, pink lipgloss, black liner,  mascara or false lashes, and big earrings.
  1. Begin with a clean face and apply concealer and foundation as needed.
  2. Line your waterline with black liner as well as a medium-thick line on your lash line.
  3. Apply long, thick false lashes to add major definition and impact to your eyes.
  4. Coat your lips with a pink lipgloss. You can even mix it up with a nude or red lip color!
As for the hair have your brush, comb, curling iron, and hairspray in hand. These waves will work and look best on medium to long hair. Remember to have clips to seperate your hair while your curling!
  1. Begin by seperating your hair into sections so all of your hair gets curled.
  2. Start from the back and wrap your hair around the curling iron and hold for 3-5 seconds. Do not brush or comb your curls until your entire head is finished.
  3. When you get to the top of your head, straighten the hair until the tip of your ear then curl the remaining length of the hair.
  4. Finger comb through the curls to create looser waves and brush the top of the hair for the complete Selena Gomez look.
  5. Spray the hair with hairspray so the curls will last all day.
