I don't know if it's just me, but I have seen many people wearing beanies in all different styles, colors, and from various brands. I've never thought of a beanie being a very feminine accessory, but after seeing how different girls style their hair ad outfits I am absolutely in love with them. Many beanies have a little extra fabric in the top so it dangles a bit in the back, or so you can wear it straight up. What's really great are that beanies are a unisex item and are practical since you are keeping your head warm. Not only that, but beanies are such a nice DIY project, you can make your own or buy little embellishments like studs to make it your own. Like they always say, don't hang around bad company. Frienimies, a friend who is also your enemy, can be the downfall to your confidence and self-esteem. Nicole Richie seems to be at a high point in her life now, she's a gorgeous fashionista, wife, and mom! When you get to analyze her "new" life, you notice that a certain friend has disappeared, Paris Hilton. Could it be one friend that is holding you back from being the best you can be? Now, I'm not telling you to drop all your friends, but if you have friends that put you down or only discuss the negative, you may want to have a heart to heart with them about how it effects other people.

Hair 101: Short Hair Tip

I remember having super short hair and always wanting to try out new hairstyles, but of course my hair was never long enough. Thanks to a Youtube guru Daven Mayeda I now have a new tip to give all the short-haired girls! Instead o using thousands of clips and pins which peek through the hair and take away from the style itself, just braid everything that won't fit. All you need to know how to do is braid dircetly to your head which is actually fot easy to learn and there are thousands of tutorials ouot there! The braiding will help eliminate massive amounts of clips, add a touch of edginess and personality to your look, as well as get all the hair you want into your hairstyle. Go try out some new hairstyles my short-haired chicas! 

Hair 101: Braided Bun

Summer is a time to get your hair out of your face, try out new hairstyles, and transform your hair to being healthier.Nicole Richie always sports the cutest hairdos and I am especially loving this braided style that goes back into a sidebun. It so easy to recreate especially on a bad hair and all you need are bobby pins, a comb or brush, and a ponytail holder.

1. Begin by detangling your hair and  all to one side.
2. Make a thick french braid on the side of your head close to your edges going to the ends of your hair. Be sure to braid loosely.
3. Take your hair and swirl it into a loose, messy bun at the back of your head. Secure with bobby pins.
4. Create a more messy look by playing with the bun and the braid. A carefree look is perfect for summer.

French Braiding Quick Tips

The best way to french braid is to take three medium sized peices of hair and cross them over each other in equal amounts of time. Add in an extra piece of hair to the original three sections to make the braid into a french braid.

Remember practice makes perfect and to be patient when trying new hairstyles. Rock this look for a carefree and fun vibe, even on the worst hair day!

I have been seeing celebrities and everyday girls pairing their cutest shorts with tights during this transition from winter to spring.  The shorts show your ready for spring, while the tights are keep your legs from freezeng. Alexa Chung dresses up the look by adding a blazer, heels and even sporting the peter pan collar trend as well. Nicole Richie is staying chic and casual by pairing her shorts and tights with a loose, flowly top, a short crotchet cardigan, and lovely black booties. Try out the look by simply taking some tights and your favorite shorts, then dress it up anyway you would like. The tights do not have to be black or one solid color and heels are not a requirement. Try out the look ladies and put your own style with it!

I hae fallen in love with Nicole Richie's style! She has been spotted in the best outfits and is always looking amazing. I loe her casual style as well as her dress up days. Nicole is also great on the new show Fashion Star, make sure you check it out! Look #1 is very casual outfit for any fashionista, but it has just the right amount of pow and chic to it. I really like that she paired the outfit with shoes of a completely different color which prevented her from being too matchy-matchy. The satchel is also to die for cute. Look #2 is very daring and risky. Some people may think it looks like a costume while other think it is a great take on menswear. Either way I am very into Nicole new fashion revolution and hope she continues to keep all the fashionistas' eyes on her. Try out some of Nicole's looks ladies!
