Although it's spring, windy and even really cold temperatures still come and it requires a super cute jacket that is also very light. The jean jacket is a perfect spring staple and it can work with any style from edgy to girly and make a formal outfit more casual. Hailee Steinfield makes a colorful dress and chic clutch casual and trendy by adding a jean jacket and rolling up the sleeves to dress . Miranda down. Hailee still stays girly, fun, and warm with the jean jacket. Miranda Kerr gives off a cool vibe in which the jean jacket adds to the look! The jacket helps to balance out the flowiness of Miranda's top and gives a little texture. Miley Cyrus takes edgy retro up a notch by adding denim on denim with high waisted shorts, a rocker tee, and the rounded sunglasses! Miley definitely knows how to incorporate a denim jacket into the springtime and balance it out with shorts. Stay warm and super cute when the springtime brings in wind and chills by wearing a jean jacket!

Fashion 101: Texture Mix

Shay Mitchell
Shay Mitchell is not just a pretty little liar, she is also a fabulous fashionista! I love how Shay mixes texture in this outfit and makes it springtime perfect. The look is perfect for a warm, breezy day because the silk top allows for both warmth and coolness and the skirt shows off toned legs. Shay's skirt is super cute, the refelcting colors gives off a mermaid inspired look. Mixing textures is almost as easy as mixing prints, but there are still a couple key tips to getting it just right.
  •  Be sure that you don't pair two bold textures together, too much texture can be too over the top.
  • The best way to make a textured outfit flow is to seperate off peices by a belt like Shay Mitchell has done.
  • Try out a smooth texture mixed with a rough texture when you are first mixing textures and continuosly venture out to more daring combinations.
Try out some these tips to learn how to mix textures in your outfits. Remember to just experiment to find out what textures work together for you. Try it out for any occasion!

Get The Look: Spring Lips

Lea Michele
I don't know about you, but I have a hard time wearing lots of make-up during the spring season. The weather can get hot and humid and allergies can cause the eyes to itch and water, not a good combo for a make-up look. For the spring season I am loving accenting the lips in bold lip colors, glosses, and stains and keeping the rest of the face simple. Lea Michele's look is perfect for spring and her lip color is bright, but goes great with her skin tone. I love that she does not completely forget her eyes by coating them in lengthening mascara. The only products you need to recreate Lea's look is a bold lip color and lengthening/thickening mascara.
  1. Begin with a clean, smooth face. Use concealer and foundation as neccessary.
  2. Take a rosy blush and apply it right to the apples of your cheeks and lightly into your temples.
  3. Curl your lashes witha an eyelash curler then coat your lashes with the lengthen and/or thickening mascara. Be sure to use at least 3 coats to make your lashes pop!
  4. Primer your lips with primer then glide your lip color across your lips. Be sure to wipe away any lipstick that went outside your lip line.
As for the hair, curl your hair into long, light waves and brush them all to one side. Secure the hair with bobby pins matching the color of your hair. Remember practice makes perfect and to be patient when trying out new beauty looks.
