Fashion 101: Breezy Bohemian

The bohemian style is a gorgeous look filled with florals, fringe, flowiness, and earthy tones. As the weather warms up it just makes sense to wear flowier outfits to let your body breath while still looking chic. Below are a few of my favorite boho styles and how to style your own boho looks.
Selena Gomez
Selena's floral flowy dress screams boho and can be dressed up or dressed down. The wedges dress the look up while still keeping with the boho theme because of the cork wedge. The fringe bag also gives off boho and can be worn across the body or on one shoulder. The belt helps to keep your waist and prevents the dress from overpowering your body.
Bella Thorne
It can be argued that this look is more "hipster" than boho, but the crotchet top and flower headband definitely make the look boho. The earthy tone of the top and crotchet top keep it looking simple but chic while the headband adds fun interest to the look. Also, the hair pieces also adds a lot of fun to the look without permanent change.
Lucy Hale
Maxi skirts are so boho and are becoming so popular with their many styles that they work for just about anybody. Maxi skirts allow lots of breathing room for the body and can be paired with simple tops or fancy tops and flats or heels. It doesn't even matter your height anymore as long as you know the right shoes and accessories to pair with your maxi skirt.
How do you work the boho style?

OOTD: Soft Denim and Spring Flowers

It finally felt like spring so I had to pull out my favorite floral pants paired with a light denim top and my new oxford cutouts. I absolutely loved thee casual yet girly look of this outfit. I purchased my floral jeans a year ago at Delia's, I purchased my denim top about two years ago at Marshall's, and my shoes are from Marshall's as well. I decided to keep my hair up in a ponytail to keep it out of my face and wore minimal jewelry and makeup.
How is your week so far?

My Spring 2013 Wants

Spring Wishlist

Spring is one of my favorite seasons because of the bright colors, florals, and of course the warm weather. This spring patterns such as houndstooth and floral are going to be top trends as well flatforms, dainty accessories, bright lips, and so much more. However, on my own spring want list is just a couple things which include flatforms, cutout shoes, rings, a pretty spring dress, and to find a new everyday make-up look.
  • Flatforms! Flatforms are cute twist on wedge shoes and still add some height to your leg because of the consistent heel. However, I need flatforms with a bit of a curve so I will actually be able to walk in them since I have a deep arch in my feet.
  • Cutout Shoes! Cutouts look so good on dresses and tops, so why not try them out on shoes? I actually have gotten a pair of flat oxfords with cutout on the side that I cannot wait to wear when the weather warms up.
  • Rings! After a while rings start to rust and look cheap and dirty which is not a cute look to me. I really would like to invest in a couple of dainty as well as statement rings to add to my jewelry collection and keep my hands looking sparkly.
  • Pretty Spring Dress! I just love the look of a flirty neon dress for spring paired with a pair of flats and curly. You have to admit that a girly a-line dress is the epitome of spring.
  • New Make-Up Look! My biggest want is actually a new everyday natural make-up look which I can only achieve through experimenting. I am so tired of mascara and winged liner and feel that since I am young I should try something new every once in a while.
What are your Spring wants? Any ideas for a new everyday make-up look?

OOTD: Topknot and Flowers

I am so in love with my H&M dress! The dress gives me a girly and edgy feel all in one, plus it makes my legs look great! The dress is an all over colorful floral pattern with hints of black that stand out. This dress is a tad too short for me to wear to school, but it is perfect for any day when you just want to wear a dress.
The dress gives me a bit of an hourglass shape because it is a-line and has very precise seam lines. It also has a body-con type feel because it hugs my body very snug. The only issue is that you need to wear smooth undergarments because they will show through the dress and visible panty lines aren't cool!
I stayed very simple with my accessories because of the busy pattern of my dress so I only wore a very small pair of green earrings, three small rings, and my everyday gold watch. I also wore a black pair of wedge booties that I have fallen in love with, but you can take the look grungey with combat boots. I decided since I really wanted to show of my dress to throw my hair up into a high topknot and no make-up.

*Just to let you guys know, my dress is from H&M for $17.95 and my shoes are from Rack Room Shoes for around $30.00.*

Outfit Of The Day: Cute 'N Casual

It was all about being casual, comfy, but still super cute in this outfit of the day. With lots of quizzes, tests, and science labs you don't want to be to over the top because sadly, it is not always a fashion show. I decided to go with a comfy tee and nice pair of skinny jeans, but of course I had to add my own flair to what seems like an "average" look.
Instead of a plain white tee, I took  dark pink hi-low tee shirt and tucked the front half into my jeans. This shirt is so versatile because you can wear it loose, tie it on the side, or tuck it in! My jeans are light colored and almost have an acid wash look. Not only are my jeans light, but they also have small flower details all over which add major flair! These jeans can be paired with any top because of the colors and fit very snug and comfortable.

I paired the look up with a pair of heavy oxfords, a gold boyfriend watch, a small necklace, and a couple of my favorite rings. I pulled my hair up into a high, big bun and since it was so humid I went with no make-up. My outfit of the day shows that even on the most stressful days when you feel like bumming it, you don't have to! Just take the basics and add your own style and flair.

Delia's - Colorful Jeans
Marshall's
Marshall's
H&M
Here it is, my Back To School Haul! Since I do go back to school during the in between weeks of summer and fall, I wanted to get pieces that would work for both seasons. Printed jeans are an absolute favorite of mine so of course I had to pick up floral and animal print jeans! I also pulled out all my pairs of colorful jeans because those are a great staple to brighten up your closet. I also went for some edgier tops as well as a super cute grungy-girly dress. All the pieces work great with my older clothes which is a must when shopping, there's no point in buying something you can't wear! I will definitely be doing more OOTD's with my newly added pieces!

OOTD: First Day Of School

My first day back to school was yesterday and I really wanted a casual summer-y look. I achieved my look by pairing up some floral print capris and a plain white tee. The capris definitely added the personality while the shirt kept it from being too overboard. I paired the look with my pink wedges that match the flowers on my capris and give me a major height boost. My jewelry is kept simple since I am only wearing a statement flower ring, gold watch, and small leaf earrings. If you notcied, I was inspired by Beyonce's hair in her Single Ladies video and tried the half up-half down with a slight tease hairstyle. The outfit was great for a first day back to school, but if your not comfortable with heels, a cute pair of flats would work just as well!

Outfit Of The Day: Summer Florals

Floral jeans and a denim button up are staple items in my wardrobe right now. They can both be worn seperately with a completely different look, or in this summery casual look I am wearing above. This outfit is perfect for a day that is not extremely hot, but it is still very warm. It is also very casual while still being a bit daring and super trendy!

I always toggle between wearing my denim button up down or crop it up by tying it in the front. Either way works for the look , but for chose to tie it up to give a fun, carefree vibe. I paired a purple cami underneath to bring out the purple and pink flowers in my floral jeans.

My shoes are just everyday flats that sparkle in silver glitter! As you may have figured out, these are the same skinny jeans I wore in an earlier OOTD post, I just rolled them up to make them more heat appropriate. My jewlery consists of my favorite Betsey Johnson boyfriend watch, a flower ring, and a butterfly ring. Can you see my nails sporting the butterfly design as well?

If you would like to know where any of the items I am wearing are from just comment below!

Fashion 101: Springtime One Piece

Zoe Saldana
Kourtney Kardashian Clothes
Kourtney Kardashion
Springtime is the perfect season ffor wearing a one piece such as a dress or a romper. Zoe Saldana looks absolutely amazing in a floral long sleeveed mini dress. The long sleeves help balance out the dress and stay warrm when the weather gets chilly. The floral print is also super cute and spring ready, the nude heels will make anyone legs look super long and lean. Minimal to no accessories are needed for the look. Kourtney Kardashion is   looking trendy by adding a crisp, white blazer over a bright romper. Rompers are best for girls who need a quick outfit for a day of running and moving around. The heels can also be replaced flats, sandals, or even cute sneakeres. Adding a pair oof sunglasses and a clutch will make the look more put together and chic. Try out a springtime one piece ladies!

Outfit Of The Day: Lace and Floral

I finally have a pair of floral jeans!!! I am so excited to reveal my first outfit styled with floral jeans and crotchet crop top. I was going for a very spring time garden look, whenver I see such light colors, crotchet and flowers, I can only thing of a lovely garden. I paired the outfit with  lace-up sandals, minimal jewlery, and a braided bun in my hair. I really love all the individual pieces of my outfit, but for anyone scared of prints on jeans try out a crochet top. The crochet top is great for dressing up a plain tee or tank and goes perfect with shorts, jeans, skirtd, and even a solid dress. Have fun with spring fashions!

Fashion 101: Shoe and Purse Cravings

Colorful Wedges

Jewel Sandals

Floral Heels

Stacked Flats

Spring Colorful Purse

Colorful Clutches and Across the Shoulder Bags
I went to DSW ( Designer Shoe Warehouse) recently and they had the perfect spring display of shoes and purses. I immediately wanted every shoe I saw and since I was just looking, I decided to take pictures to share. I fell in love with all the wedges because they are my favorite type of shoe for spring, they're easy to walk in and make every girl's legs look great! I also really like sandals for sprong, but they must have a standout feature like the jewels and dangles on the sandals pictured above.  The sacked flats were amazing and I actually remember seeing a pair featured in a magazine spread. Lastly, I am a purse lover and the purses above are perfect for spring, especially the color schemes. Hope you enjoy chicas and get inspired for spring!

Get The Look: Boho Girly For Prom

Keke Palmer Look
Keke Palmer's Boho Girly look has to be my favorite for prom inspiration. She takes a classic long dress that includes straps and of course a beautiful floral print. Keke's feather earrings take the dress to a bohemian feel, but the black pumps add a glam touch. The dress also comes to together at Keke's waist which help defines curves while wearing a long dress, a detail every girl should look for in a long dress. Keke keeps her make up very natural and pulls her hair back into a low half up half down style with cascading curls. The look is pure beauty, try it out ladies!
