Cyber-Monday Haul

My Cyber-Monday items are finally here! I purchased three items from my favorite store, Delia's. I was able to get these three items each for half off plus free shipping! Together, it was only $30, a deal! I was looking for cute tops and fun accessories to add to my winter wardrobe. Below are my purchased items:
This simple graphic tee is filled with color and gives off a slightly sporty vibe. I love to pair this top with a simple pair of jeans and my sneaker wedges for a casual look.
This sweater is super warm and cozy! I love the diamond print and color because it matches with blue jeans, colored jeans, tennis shoes, and boots!
I love these cute and quirky earrings! Gold accessories are my favorite and especially stud-like gold earrings. These earrings will look perfect when I am wearing my hair up or when I just want to wear fun accessories.

Style Crushing: Vanessa Hudgen's White Out

Vanessa Hudgen's style has always been a love of mine, but the new boho glam looks she's been wearing lately make it me love it even more. The all white look is fabulous in the summertime because it shows off the glow and tan on your skin while also looking fresh and clean. The peep of midriff keeps the look young and sexy since so much of the body is covered up in fabric. Also, although I am style crushing over Vanessa's two looks, I am also hair crushing because big buns and loose waves are always chic and help to complete a look. Lastly, the two all white looks require little to no accessories because the hair and color do so much for the overall look already. It's simply chic and fabulous!
What are you style crushing over?

Love Her Style: Zendaya

Zendaya is one of my latest style crushes because of her variations of looks and styles, from hair, beauty, and fashion! Zendaya is known for an edgy and fun red carpet look, very chic casual looks, as well as outfits that go into a more tomboy inspired style. Below are three of my favorite looks from Zendaya in each of her style elements.
This is such a fun, feminine outfit that looks perfect for any party! The skirt is full of tulling  giving it an effect of a tutu, but in a more chic and fashionable way. The high waist aspect and the a-line of the skirt keeps it from being too dress up and dancer like. The top is a more artistic take on cheetah print and gives Zendaya's outfit a great mix of print and breaks away from being too dark and pairing black on black. The shoes are very subdued with soft lace and make her legs look miles long.
Some days all you need is a great pair of leather pants, a loose top, warm jacket, and a pop of color which is exactly what Zendaya has done with her look. The leather pants fit her perfectly and add an edge as opposed to typical black jeans. The top is basic black with small white details which amps it up a notch. The jacket adds a slight break up of all black and hangs like a cardigan meaning it won't take away from the entire look. Zendaya's hot pink heels help to make the look stand out with a touch of girliness.
This is one of my favorite looks from Zendaya because of its tomboy vibe mixed with my go to floral patterns. Zendaya knows exactly how to go from super girly to chic and to tomboy and still look absolutely amazing! The floral pants are baggy but fitted at the ankles which keeps a feminine frame and the tucked in tee helps to not lose her waist. The blue sneakers keep the look cool and casual while still fitting in with the entire look.

Marshall's - Black and Animal Print Jeans
Delia's - Colorful Jeans
Marshall's
Marshall's
H&M
Here it is, my Back To School Haul! Since I do go back to school during the in between weeks of summer and fall, I wanted to get pieces that would work for both seasons. Printed jeans are an absolute favorite of mine so of course I had to pick up floral and animal print jeans! I also pulled out all my pairs of colorful jeans because those are a great staple to brighten up your closet. I also went for some edgier tops as well as a super cute grungy-girly dress. All the pieces work great with my older clothes which is a must when shopping, there's no point in buying something you can't wear! I will definitely be doing more OOTD's with my newly added pieces!

OOTD: Sugar and Spice

It's all about sugar and spice in this outfit which I can easily dress down or dress up. All you need is a change of accessories and a few pieces clothing and you can do this with any outfit! I love the dainty sweetness of the top while the black skirt and studded shorts both help to give it an edge.

The black fitted skirt adds a dressed up look to the casual, flowy top which means you can wear this outfit to any semi-formal event. The tan oxfords keeping the dainty vibe of the shirt while the necklace and earrings give off a soft and girly look.

The back of the shirt is what makes me fall in love because of the way it ruffles and flows with the wind without too much going on. The big messy bun I put in hair is super easy to create and helps to accentuate the round neck line and ruffles of the shirt.
Dressing down a look is never too hard thanks to denim! I wanted to keep the sugar and spice look so I paired the top with studded shorts and kept the shoes and earrings the same. The only other change would be the necklace since it has a chain detail that goes with the studs on the shorts. This look is great for summer and can also look good with long jeans.

As you can see this casual top can be dressed up and down. Plus it can be worn super cropped to show of the belly or pulled lower down to stay conservative. The Sugar and Spice top can be found at sugarlipsapparel.com. Sugar Lips has a great variety of clothes and helps support us fashion bloggers!

Fashion 101: A Flowing Chrissy Teigen

Look #1
Chrissy Teigen Clothes
Look #2
Flowing and loose outfits are becoming an everyday look that can be dressed up or dressed down. The look is great for the summer days because although you may be wearing long pants or sleeves, the fabric is wide enough that the air breezes right through. Chrissy Teigen,  a gorgeous model, rocks the flowy look both casually and dressed up. Look #1 is great for a day out and can even transition into a night look with the right make-up and accessories. The white tank is loose which gives off a cool vibe while the belted wide leg jeans give her back her shape. The jeans can easily be changed to shorts if it is too hot. Look #2 is bold because of the sheer sleeved blazer sky blue pants. The silkiness and color of the pants give off a fun vibe while the blazer keeps it polished. Whenever wearing a flowy look try not to wear chunky jewelry, but more subtle pieces so there is no overpowering. The best hair is wavy and carefree so the whole look moves together.

Are you trying out the loose and flowy look?

Fashion Tip #10

Mix prints and patterns in your outfit! No one ever said stripes and polka dots can't go together. Mixing and matching patterns is actually quite easy as long as you stick to a color theme. For example, if your favorite color is purple, make sure all your clothing pieces have at least a hint or accent of purple. Be sure not to mix the same pattern or print, in the same color, in one outfit or risk looking cartoon like. Remember to revise your outfit by looking at your self in a mirror to be sure you are not overdone. Mixing and matching is a fun and creative way to spice up your outfit.

Fashion Tip #9

Belt it up! A plain look can be transformed just by adding a cute, stand out belt. A belt can be used to define your waist and add a chic print or color to a plain top. A belt can also be used when colorblocking your outfit in any color. Belts are almost never too much, they are both practical and cute at the same time! They also come in a variety of sizes, thin and wide and different types such as chains and ropes! Try it out chicas!

Fashion Tip #7

Make a statement! It can be with a shoe, a bag, or even glasses. A statement item is like the center piece of an outfit and needs to stand by its color or a unique pattern or design. When wearing your statement item make sure to leave the rest of your outfit simple. You do not want to overpower yourself by having too much going on. Go out and don't be afraid to make a statement!

Fashion Tip #6

Winter bulk is not a cute look. We all know that comfort and warmth should come first, but no one ever said you can't still look cute. An alternative for the huge winter coat is a nice trench. A trench coat keeps you warm withiut the extra bulk and is also very stylish. Scarves are also chic and very winter appropriately. When wearing dresses or skirts for the winter time keep warm with patterend tights and leggings. Winter wear can be made cute, chic, and practical minus all the extra bulk.
