How to Style: The Tomboy Chic Look

Selena Gomez
Keep a tomboy chic look girly by adding voluminous curls to your hair. Add hints of blush and mascara to make your face glow!
Zendaya
Add stylish pops to color to your look with fun sneakers! You can even make your look even cooler with a patterned or printed top. A top with a cool logo or saying is also a great conversation starter.

Zendaya
Beanies are always cute and practical in the cold weather. Mix and match your loo with lots of prints to keep your look fashionable, not boring. Also, prevent a tomboy look from being too baggy bu tucking the front piece of your shirt into your pants.

Hair 101: The Deep Side Part

AnnaSophia Robb

AnnaSophia Robb
A deep side part puts a whole new twist on hair! Creating a part starting at the peak of your eyebrow can bring the drama. This hair look can help show off the angles of your face and change up your look without a cut or dye. All you need to try out the look is a rat-tail comb.
  1.  Line up the rat-tail end of the comb to the peak/high point of your eyebrow and bring it straight back until it creates a part in your hair.
  2. Then comb your hair until the part is noticeable and as deep as you would like.
Now to take AnnaSophia's spin on the hair look, you can either create deep Hollywood waves in your hair or even substitute for casual beach waves. Just grab your curling iron and experiment! You can also go edgier and leave out your bangs and pull the rest of the hair into a sleek bun.

How to Style It: Plaid, Plaid, Plaid!

Alexa Chung
Plaid dress are so chic and super cute! Like any other dress, they come in a variety of styles that can be mixed and matched with different shoes and accessories.
Jessica Alba
Plaid doesn't always have to be for shirts. Plaid pants can be be paired with solid colored tops or a edgy graphic tee. Plaid pants look great in skinny jean form so that it shows off your leg shape.
Jessica Alba
Like any other print, plaid can definitely be mixed and matched. Try taking a main color from the plaid print and match it up with other prints so it maintains at least one matching color. The cheetah and plaid above is so chic!
Hailee Steinfeld
The newest plaid trend is wrapping a plaid button up around your waist. It gives the look a pop of color and can be used to warm yourself up if you get cold in the chilly fall weather.

Fashion 101: The Sweater Dress

The weather is slowly starting to get chilly which means it's time to start pulling out the sweaters. However, a cool twist on the sweater is to lengthen it down into a dress. Sweater dresses have a cool, casual, and chic feel and can be worn in so many ways! Check out my favorite sweater dress looks below:
Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld is always taking a fashion risk! Hailee's sweater is slightly fitted while still having a casual slouch to it. The fun part is obviously the "eye see you!" print which gets a lot of positive attention. No matter what you're wearing, an eye catching print is always super cool if you rock it with confidence!
Lily Collins
Lily Collins legs go on for miles in this short, dark sweater dress. However, the clothing and accessory styling is not what makes Lily's look, it's the beauty look. The slicked back hair gives a fierce and feisty attitude while the dark lipstick keeps it chic and on trend. Remember, you can always pair the look with a fun pair of printed, sheer stockings to keep your legs covered.
Selena Gomez
Keep up with the latest fall trends by pairing knee high socks with your boots! Selena is super casual in this slouchy sweater dress. Selena stays warm with of course, the warm texture of the sweater, but the knee highs act as a type of stocking. Also, if your nervous the sweater may be too short, just pair shorts, a skirt, or any other garment underneath.

Trend 101: Out with the Platform?

Trend 101: Out with the Platform?

Trend 101: Out with the Platform? by lyndseycamille featuring red heel shoes
Have platforms been deemed out? Heels have finally made their way back closer to the ground! The shoes above allude so much class and of course major chicness. Heels without the platform are not as kick-punch and allow the outfit more room to stand out. However, don't think a shoe can't still make an impact without a platform because they still totally can.

Will you still be rocking platforms?
